Ridgeway 86

The Ridgeway Challenge 86 Miles (138km) is a fully supported continuous running event that traverses the entire of the Ridgeway National Trail - to be completed in under 28 hours. The race starts at Ivinghoe Beacon and ends at Avebury Stone Circle. The Ridgeway National Trail is a 5000 year old track through the Chiltern Hills and North Wessex Downs visiting incredible landscapes and features en route. The route is way marked throughout and makes for on the whole fast running and good going underfoot, containing just 6000ft of climb. With live tracking via Open Tracking, 9 fully stocked check points and a drop bag at half way - plus the option to have a crew in addition, the race is set up to be an incredible running experience. The 2024 race is the 21st year for the event and it continues to act as the British Trail Running Championships - Ultra Distance.
