OTT Ultra Reverse

Summer Ultra Fun!

This is a reverse of the OTT Ultra, starting and finihsing in Cyfarthfa Castle.  The route takes you out of Merthyr Tydfii on the Taf Fechan Nature Reserve to Pontsticll resevoir then onto Torpantau and into the Brecon Beacons National Park.  Climbing Jacob's ladder to sumit Pen Y Fan (The highest peak in South Wales at 886 meters)

Decending from the sumit down to the Beacons reservoir and around to join the trails back towards Merthyr Tydfil through Garwnant before re entering the Taf Fechan Nature reserve to the finish. 

The route is suitable for those looking to step up into ultra running whislt catering for experienced ultra runners looking to enjoy great climbs, technical sections and fast downhills.
