Ellenden Farm Frolic

Spend a day, or less if you prefer, enjoying our quirky 4.55km lap of rolling farmland and blossom-filled apple orchards. Enjoy the 12-hour relay with a team of friends, or test yourself against the clock for 12, 6, or 3 hours. For those who prefer running distances instead of time, you can also enter to run 10km or the number of laps that will take you past half marathon, marathon, or 50km (these last ones are particularly for those runners attempting a new distance who don't want any clock pressure). Entrants for the half marathon distance enter the 3 hour race, but are able to carry on after the 3 hours to complete 5 laps (14.1 miles) or until 8pm. Entrants for the marathon and 50km distances enter the 6 hour race, but can carry on until they complete their distance of 10 laps (28.3 miles for the marathon) or 11 laps (50.05 km for the 50km) or until 8pm. Race HQ is based next to the farm's delightful shop and cafe, which serves an outstanding array of delicious food and drink. So, bring the family and let them enjoy the surroundings and a great lunch while you run.
